Empire’ actor Morocco Omari charged with domestic battery
CHICAGO (AP) — A performer on the network show “Realm” has been captured on a wrongdoing local battery charge in Chicago.
Police say 46-year-old Morocco Omari was captured Wednesday evening. They say officers were called to the Hyde Park neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side by a 24-year-old lady who recognized herself as Omari’s better half. She advised officers Omari pushed her to the ground a few times amid a contention, creating scratches on her neck and trunk.
The Cook Constituency State’s Attorney’s Office states Omari showed up in court Thursday. His next court date is April 20.
A delegate for Omari did not instantly give back a call for input.
It demonstrates that is taped in Chicago, Omari plays FBI Agent Tariq Cousins. He’s the stepbrother of Lucious Lyon, who’s played by Terrence Howard.
